MCMINNVILLE, Ore. - A small portion of the Central Washington University track & field team traveled down to Ore. for a pair of meets on Saturday. Multiple Wildcats improved their marks ahead of the GNAC Outdoor Championships next week.

QUOTING HEAD COACH KEVIN ADKISSON:

• "It was a pretty good day for PRs. There are a lot of people finishing up the season strong. It was a good way to wrap up the regular season and help us get ready for championships."

ABOUT THE MEETS:

• Ethan Coon earned the best finish on the day, coming in 2nd in the 3000-meter Steeplechase. He clocked in at 10:16.90, a PR.
• Alexa Neff placed 4th in the 800-meter dash at the Linfield Open. Neff ran a time of 2:29.63, a PR.
• Garrett Hough recorded a PR in the 800-meter dash. His time of 1:58.01 was good for 5th place at the Linfield Open.
• Kelvin Kipchirchir (800-meter) and Beatrice Le Gore (1500-meter) picked up PRs at the Linfield Open while Madison Thompson (800-meter) and Steiner Christensen (1500-meter) registered PRs at the Portland Twilight.
