RESULTS

QUOTING HEAD COACH JONATHAN HILL
"Lauryn [McGough] is an incredible athlete and a real student of the sport. She and her coach, JT Statler, have a great relationship and they've got a good cue system dialed in. Johan [Correa] continued his historic season. He is the best male distance runner in Central Washington history. He continues to reinforce that and build his resume one race at a time. He's got a lot of strengths, but I'd say that would be number one, his tactical efforts. Drew Klein worked all summer and fall for today. He is a guy who's punched the clock, put in the time, and been deliberate with his training efforts. He had a great vault for a decathlete and a Division II pole vaulter. He's dialed in."

"We are promoting a culture of fearlessness, and we are not afraid of any outcome. Sometimes with that, you see big implosions, but you also open the door for greatness. We are not afraid of bad outcomes because we know through that risk-taking process, we have the potential to achieve greatness. I'm so proud of our team and their willingness to take challenges and if it doesn't go their way, how they wrap each other up and support one another. We're headed in the right direction, and we've got a group of increasingly fearless men and women."
