HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Greyhounds came out of the gates running with Mario Sanchez getting a 37-yard rush to put the 'Hounds in the CWU red zone. A couple of plays later, Sanchez punched it in for the 7-0 lead after the successful point after touchdown.
- The Wildcats maneuvered their way down the field making it across the 50-yard line, but the Greyhound defense and a couple of Wildcat penalties forced the crimson and black to punt the ball.
- The Wildcat defense stiffened up and forced a three-and-out on the Greyhounds defense. A penalty on the Greyhounds on the punt set CWU up at the ENMU 40-yard line. A 10-yard rush by Kennedy McGill and a 14-yard rush by Tyler Flanagan would end the first quarter with ENMU up 7-0.
- Three plays into the second quarter McGill would get the 'Cats on the board with a six-yard touchdown rush and paired with the Wyatt Redding PAT, tied the game at seven apiece with 13:30 left in the second quarter.

- A 26-yard rush by McGill helped get the 'Cats into the Greyhounds territory on the second play of the drive followed shortly by a 22-yard reception to Darrien Gaines helped set McGill up to find Darius Morrison in the endzone for the 13-yard touchdown reception to put CWU on top. Redding's PAT would go through the uprights and put CWU up 14-7 with 5:47 left in the second quarter.
- The Greyhounds bit back on their next drive and marched down the field to tie the game at 14 with 1:30 left in the second quarter.
- A hurry up tempo by the Wildcat offense saw McGill connect with Marcus Cook for a 25-yard reception followed by a nine-yard run by McGill, set up Flanagan to coast into the endzone on a 31-yard rush to put CWU back on top, 21-14 after the Redding PAT.
- The Wildcat defense stifled the Greyhounds offense once again to put the ball back in the hands of the offense with nine seconds to go before halftime. McGill connected with Morrison to the ENMU 25-yard line, but the 42-yard field goal by Redding was no good sending the game to halftime with the 'Cats up 21-14.

- The 'Cats drove the rest of the way to open the fourth quarter as Flanagan sealed the deal with a 29-yard rushing touchdown. Redding's PAT made it 41-21 with 12:36 left in the game.
- The Wildcat defense forced another three-and-out to set up the offense at the 'Hounds 34-yard line.
- McGill immediately connected with Morrison for a 16-yard reception as Daniels took it down to the ENMU one-yard line. The Greyhound defense had a huge stop on third down to set up Redding for the 19-yard field goal attempt which would be successful and give the 'Cats the 44-21 lead with 5:32 left.
- The Greyhounds marched down the field and a 32-yard reception by Gerry Gomez from Sanchez followed by a successful PAT from Cooper Hamilton made it 44-28 CWU with 2:43 left.
