ELLENSBURG, Wash. – Central Washington women's soccer team (1-9-4, 0-8-3 GNAC) suffered a 2-1 defeat on Thursday night against Seattle Pacific University (8-2-5, 6-1-4 GNAC).

FIRST HALF
Sami Huber made a fantastic run in the 11
th minute as she rifled a shot from the edge of the box into the top right corner of the goal. Although CWU was outshot 12 to four, the 'Cats made the most of their limited opportunities. 
Kass Jaggard made nine saves in an impressive performance. 
Addy Seher received a yellow card in the 43
rd minute for a foul in the defensive half. Taylor Krueger led the team with four shots on goal, but ultimately could not get past Jaggard. 
Casey Park led the team with three shots attempted and two shots on goal. 
Shannah Mellick showed her offensive abilities as she recorded two shots on goal.
 
SECOND HALF
Krueger found the breakthrough for SPU in the 49
th minute as she rifled a shot into the back of the net off an assist from Kayla Wallace. In the 74
th minute, Lauren Snedeker was shown a yellow card for a poor tackle. In the 83rd minute, Nora Patterson gave the Falcons the lead as she slotted the ball in the corner of the net on a through ball pass from Landrey McCann. In the 88
th minute, Kathryn Nyone was shown a yellow card for a poor challenge in the defensive half. SPU outshot the 'Cats 20 to three. Jaggard made seven saves as her play was crucial to keeping CWU in the game.
