Bruins Sweep Wildcats in Saturday’s Doubleheader

NEWBERG, Ore. – George Fox swept Central Washington in Saturday's doubleheader. The Bruins won game one 11-4 and completed the sweep with a 4-3 game two victory. Game one was a dominant win by George Fox. Game two was close, but the 'Cats offense went stagnant after the fourth inning and the Bruins completed the sweep.

QUOTING HEAD COACH DESI STOREY
We didn't play our best baseball today. Daniel did a great job in game two, but we didn't hit. Missed scoring opportunities early in game one, which could have changed the complexion of the game, but we didn't capitalize. We will get home and regroup and get ready for Saint Martin's.
