NAMPA, Idaho. – Central Washington women's soccer team (1-2-1, 0-1-0 GNAC) fell 1-0 to Northwest Nazarene (1-4-0, 1-0-0 GNAC) on Thursday evening in a hard-fought match. The Nighthawks found the back of the net in the 51st minute.
Jordan Bartlow had the lone shot on goal for the 'Cats.

FIRST HALF
The Nighthawks out-shot the 'Cats 17 to one but could not find the back of the net.
Danika Galbraith came up huge for CWU as she recorded eight saves and kept the opponent scoreless. Bartlow had a shot on goal in the 13
th minute but was saved by Alex Barrass. The defensive identity of Central Washington was evident as they were able to maintain their opponents and frustrate them by catching them offside twice.
SECOND HALF
The breakthrough came within six minutes of the half as Attie Jo Westbrook slotted the ball in the bottom corner. The cross came from Alejandra Jaramillo to give NNU the lead. A shot in the 87

Sydney Madison came close to goal, but ultimately did not challenge the keeper. Galbraith made four saves to keep the Wildcats in the game after facing nine shots. CWU had three shots and kept themselves in the game by creating opportunities with corner kicks as they had three.
