The 'Cats then went to Anchorage where they saw an early deficit in the first 10 minutes before clawing back to overtake the University of Alaska Anchorage to lead 31-23 at the half and ultimately defeating the Seawolves 64-52 on Jan 11.

Strong team play from CWU included career-high scoring for Cavin Holden, who recorded 35 points in the game against UAF and led the team assists for the week with eight total, and Maverick Sanders, who recorded his second double-double (15 points and 10 rebounds) this season against UAA and led in block with seven.
