ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University men's basketball team (12-5, 6-1 GNAC) heads on a road trip to Saint Martin's University (16-4, 5-2 GNAC) on Thursday, Jan 23 and Western Oregon University (4-13, 1-6 GNAC) on Saturday, Jan 25 looking to build on its four-game winning streak.

Central enters this week at #6 in the West Region, up four spots from #10 last week. The Wildcats earned their third and fourth straight wins after defeating the Seattle Pacific Falcons 82-61 on Jan 16 and the Montana State Billings Yellowjackets 82-69 on Jan 18.
Cavin Holden led the team in scoring with 36 points total, followed by
Maverick Sanders with 30 points. Sanders also led in rebounds (14) and blocks (4). Holden and
Eli Williams moved the ball efficiently, leading the team in assists with eight and seven, respectively.
ABOUT THE SAINTS
Saint Martin's holds the best overall record among GNAC teams so far this season, going 16-4. The Saints' success was halted abruptly last week when they lost back-to-back close games to Western Washington 75-77 and Simon Fraser 77-80. SMU was previously undefeated in conference play and now enters this week 5-2 in the GNAC.
The Saints have three players who lead in major statistical categories. Diego Trejo-Delgado leads in scoring with 252 points and rebounds with 128 total boards. Jaden Nielsen-Skinner leads in assists with 116 total and steals with 35. Gavin Gilstrap leads the netminders for the Saints with 19 total blocks.
The Wildcats face the Saints on Thursday, Jan 23. Tip-off from the Marcus Pavilion is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
ABOUT THE WOLVES
Western Oregon's chances have not been as fortunate this season. With an overall record of 4-13 and a conference record of 1-6, WOU is in last place in the GNAC. The Wolves' only victory in conference was on Jan 16, defeating Simon Fraser 78-76.
The Wolves have a triple threat in their statistical leaders. Jason Gallant lead the Wolves in scoring with 277 points and assists with 52. Brady Grier leads in rebounds with 93 total boards. Anjay Cortez is the defensive threat, leading the team in steals with 23 and blocks with 11 total.
The Wildcats take on the Wolves on Saturday, Jan 25. Tip-off from Monmouth, Ore is scheduled for 4:15 p.m.
