ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University men's basketball team (13-6, 7-2 GNAC) returns to Nicholson Arena for a three-game homestand, beginning on Saturday, February 1, with a matchup against the Northwest Nazarene University Nighthawks (14-3, 7-2 GNAC).

Central split its matchups last week falling to Saint Martin's University 55-67 on Jan 23, and rebounding to a 93-71 victory over Western Oregon University on Jan 25.
The Wildcats had a strong presence in scoring from three players, led by
Garrett Anderson, who scored 38 points.
Jordan Clark had 29 points and recorded 11 assists, including a career-high eight assists against Western Oregon. Right behind Clark was
Cavin Holden, who scored 27 points and had eight assists total.
Calvin Sisk performed well under the hoop, recording 12 rebounds, including a season-high nine boards against Western Oregon. Sisk also led the team with four blocks.
ABOUT THE NIGHTHAWKS
Northwest Nazarene saw an identical outcome as CWU did this past week. The Nighthawks defeated Western Oregon 84-60 on Jan 23, before heading to Lacey, Wash. to take on the Saint Martin's Saints. NNU held the lead for most of the game, but SMU chipped away at the Nighthawks' margin and stole the lead in the last two minutes, and hung on to achieve the comeback and upset the conference-leading NNU 58-54.
The Nighthawks are led by Kye Dickson, whose 308 points are nearly double that of the next player on the scoring list for NNU. Dickson also leads in rebounds with 140 boards total. Yaru Harvey moves the ball well, leading the team with 68 assists. Ryzin Bergersen has success in swiping the ball with a team-leading 37 steals this season. Zane Foster rounds out the defensive threats, leading with 19 total blocks.
The Wildcats take on the Nighthawks on Saturday, Feb 1. Tip-off from Nicholson Arena is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
