PORTLAND, Ore. – Two Central Washington University Men's Basketball student-athletes were honored by the Great Northwest Athletic Conference on Thursday afternoon as
Jordan Clark and
Bradley Swillie were announced as members of the conference's Preseason All-Conference Team.
"Jordan and Bradley have played a big part in our program's success over the last two years," Wildcat Head Coach
Brandon Rinta said, "We are excited to see their growth moving into their junior seasons. Their leadership is going to be a key ingredient for this year's team."
Clark, a junior from Seattle, Wash., started in all 31 games he played–logging 905 minutes played, while scoring 363 points and averaging 11.7 points per game for .455 overall and .449 from behind the arc–finishing season in second place in the GNAC and recording the ninth-best three-point shooting percentage by a Wildcat in a single season. Clark was also named to the GNAC All-Conference Honorable Mention. He also recorded 91 assists, 67 rebounds, 28 steals, and four blocks, and helped Central earn its first regular season conference title since 2010-11.
Swillie began making regular minutes with the 'Cats just in time for the GNAC slate of last season to begin and proceeded to have an impact on the squad. Appearing in 21 games and logging 466 minutes played, the junior from Tacoma, Wash., scored 192 points, while averaging 9.1 points per game for a .479 shooting percentage. He also recorded 59 rebounds, 26 assists, 18 steals, and three blocks–playing an integral part to helping CWU earn the championship title.
Clark, Swillie and the Crimson and Black begin the 2025-26 season in the CCA DII Canadian Tip-Off Classic in Langley, B.C.–taking on Cal State San Bernardino in the first game on Oct. 31. Tip-off from the Langley Events Centre is set for 11:00 a.m.
