ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University Women's Basketball Team is ecstatic to announce Kaiya Dotter, Sierra Eddie, and Fiona Snashall as the latest additions to the team for the 2025-26 season.

Randi Richardson said. "They are all phenomenal young women who share the same values that have already been established within our program and are all players whose primary goals are to win championships and be a part of something bigger than themselves."
Dotter will join the crimson and black after graduating from Meadowdale High School this spring. Dotter helped guide the Mavericks to a second-place finish in the 2A/3A Wesco and an appearance in the WIAA 3A Girls Basketball Tournament. The 5-9 guard/small forward was a varsity letter earner for girls' basketball.
Dotter plans on majoring in Business Administration and when asked on her decision to attend CWU said, "The community felt very welcoming and warm. It feels like home."
"We are excited about the addition of Kaiya to our program," Richardson said. "She is a athletic and has a vast skill set that can be utilized in many different ways. She's a great teammate and fits our core values. She will be a great addition to our team."
Eddie will be joining her current teammate Kayla Thornton in transitioning from Western Wyoming Community College to CWU this offseason. Eddie, a native of West Point, Utah spent the past two seasons with WWCC. The 5-8 guard averaged 14.7 points per game that saw her conclude the season with 16-straight double-digit performances including a 31-point performance against Northwest College. She finished the season shooting 37.5 percent from the floor, 31.8 percent from three, and 83.1 percent at the free-throw line. She also finished with 3.2 rebounds per game, 2.3 assists per game, 68 steals, and six blocks during the season.
Eddie has had an abundance of awards to her name since high school. In high school at Fremont High School, she helped lead the Silverwolves to a 6A Region One Championship and was named to the All-Region One First Team, the All-Area First Team, the All-State Second Team, and was a Utah Girls Basketball Coaches Association All-Star for two seasons. At WWCC, she continued to excel earning Honorable Mention All-American her freshman year, was a two-time All-Region IX Team, Region IX All-Tournament Team, and Region IX Player of the Week. This past season she led the entire Region IX in three-point makes with 93 baskets.
Eddie is currently undecided on a major to pursue. When asked on why she chose CWU, she said, "After speaking with Coach Randi, I felt that she was very genuine and that I would really be valued at CWU. CWU's program is focused and competitive, which is where I need to be to grow as an athlete and a person."
"Sierra is a dynamic guard who can shoot it from three with the best of them but also has the ability to score at all three levels," Richardson said. "She is exceptional at making those around her better. She comes in with some great experience and we look forward to her adding to our competitive environment."
Snashell will join the 'Cats after spending the past two seasons as a member of NCAA Division II Regis University in Denver. While with the Rangers she played in 38 games, starting 20 and averaged 6.7 points per game, 6.3 rebounds per game, 0.9 assists per game, and tacked on 15 blocks and 27 steals. She saw a surge this past season where she averaged 9.3 points per game, 8.3 rebounds per game, 1.3 assists per game and added 10 blocks and 24 steals on 41.1 percent shooting from the floor, 30.4 percent shooting from three, and 73.9 percent shooting at the free-throw line.
The 6-2 La Cañada, California native helped lead the Holy Family High School Tigers to a State Championship in 2023 and earned Player of the Game in the championship game. She was voted Team MVP, First Team 4A in Colorado for two seasons, and helped lead her squads to three-straight regional championships. This past season she was voted Most Improved for the Rangers.
Snashell plans on majoring in Financial Analytics with a minor in Economics. When asked on her decision to come to Central, she said, "The women's basketball team was so welcoming, and their culture was unlike anything I'd seen at the collegiate level. I ultimately chose CWU because of the people and the close-knit community."
"Fiona is an extremely versatile player with great size and athleticism," Richardson said. "Her size and versatility will allow for her to have the opportunity to vastly impact the game and fill up a stat sheet. Her high achieving mindset and competitive nature will fit in great to our program. We look forward to getting her here and getting the best out of her."
