CORVALLIS, Ore. – Jack Pratapas of the Central Washington University track and field team claimed first place in the men's 3000-meter steeplechase, leading a strong overall performance by the Wildcats, who set several new personal records over the weekend.

ABOUT THE MEET
- Pratapas claimed victory in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:43.27, followed closely by teammate Ethan Moore, who finished second in 9:43.31, setting a new personal best. The Wildcats secured a dominant one-two finish.
- Payton Elenbaas delivered a strong performance over the weekend, placing third in the hammer throw with a mark of 49.26 meters. She also secured sixth place in the discus throw with a season-best distance of 42.80 meters.
- Julie Johnson set a new personal record in the 3000-meter steeplechase, finishing seventh with a time of 11:48.22.
- Brenna Board had a packed schedule, competing in three events. She placed fifth in the shot put with a season-best throw of 12.00 meters, took 11th in the hammer throw at 44.32 meters, and finished 19th in the discus throw with 30.19 meters.
- In the long jump, Leighton Menge finished 18th with a leap of 4.75 meters, while teammate Samantha DeLay followed closely in 20th with a jump of 4.71 meters.
