INDIANAPOLIS - The 13th-ranked Central Washington University Women's Basketball team has been as a part of the first NCAA Regional Ranking of the 2025-26 season.

The first ranking features the top 10 teams in each region in alphabetical order with the first actual ranking of the teams coming in next week's regional ranking. Only eight teams from the region advance to the tournament.

The Wildcat Women's Basketball Team is in the midst of their best season of the Division II era with a 22-3 record and a 13-2 GNAC record. The 'Cats will have a pair of tough challenges in their final road trip of the regular season when they travel to Western Oregon and Saint Martin's who played the 'Cats tough in Ellensburg a few weeks ago. The Wildcats will then return to Ellensburg to face the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks for Senior Day. The Wildcats are currently in the top spot in the GNAC and hold a game advantage over second-place Western Washington and a game and a half advantage over Saint Martin's as the 'Cats hunt for their first-ever GNAC regular season championship.
