PORTLAND, Ore. – The Central Washington University Women's Basketball Team tied a GNAC-high seven student-athletes named to the GNAC Women's Basketball Academic All-GNAC team, presented by Barnes and Noble College, the conference announced Friday.
Making her third appearance on the GNAC All-Academic Team is the newest GNAC all-time points leader, senior guard
Asher Cai. Cai, a Colfax, Wash. native, owns a 3.89 GPA in Exercise Science.
Three 'Cats are making their second appearance on the GNAC All-Academic Team.
Aliyah Finch, a Chelan, Wash. native, is earning her second-straight Academic All-GNAC honor with a 3.63 GPA in Craft Brewing. Hometown product
Rylee Leishman joins Finch in the second timers named to the Academic All-GNAC Team with a 3.89 GPA in Elementary Education. Rounding out those earning the honor for the second time is Post Falls, Idaho native,
Capri Sims. Sims owns a 3.57 GPA in Business Administration.
Three more 'Cats are earning the honor for the first time in their careers.
Annalee Coronado, an Othello, Wash. native, has a 3.29 GPA in Public Health to earn her first Academic All-GNAC honor.
Jordy DeMott joins Coronado in earning the honor for the first time as the Claremont, Calif. native has earned a 3.85 GPA in Physical Education and School Health. Rounding out the first timers earning the honor is Long Beach, Calif. native
Emily Shaw who has a perfect 4.0 GPA to join five other student-athletes in the GNAC with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
