Wildcat Track & Field Heads to the Beaver State for the OSU PNW Invite

ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University Track & Field Team will turn their attention back to their outdoor season this weekend as they head to the Beaver State to participate in the Oregon State University PNW Invite.

ABOUT THE MEET:
 
CWU will dive back into their outdoor season after taking a week off for the four student-athletes who competed at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Virginia Beach, Va. where the 'Cats excelled once again. The Wildcats will head to Oregon to participate in the Oregon State University PNW Invite where the best of the best in the Pacific Northwest will come together for the first major outdoor meet of the season.
 
The meet will begin on Friday with the men's and women's discus and hammer throws at noon. The first day concludes with the women's and men's 3K steeplechase at 6:40 and 6:50 p.m.
 
Saturday will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the women's and men's pole vault. The meet will conclude on Saturday at 4:44 and 5:00 p.m. with the women's and men's 4x400 meter relay.
 
UP NEXT:
 
The Wildcats will head east to Spokane to participate in the annual Whitworth Peace Meet which will take place on Saturday, April 4 at the Puryear Field & Boppell Track inside the Whitworth Pine Bowl.
