ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University Women's Basketball Team earned the top spot in the West Region in this weeks NCAA regional rankings.
The west region saw no change from last week to this week in the top 10.
The CWU Women's Basketball Team is 23-5 on the season and earned the second seed in the GNAC Tournament after a 58-56 setback to Northwest Nazarene last Saturday saw the Western Washington Vikings overtake the 'Cats in the GNAC standings. The 'Cats will face the winner of the third-seeded Saint Martin's Saints and the sixth-seeded Montana State Billings Yellowjackets on Friday at noon.
