PORTLAND, Ore. – Central Washington Volleyball's Scottie Ellsworth received the 2025-26 GNAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year award, the conference office announced Thursday afternoon, highlighting a remarkable final season that combined elite performance on the court with near-perfect excellence in the classroom.
 
Ellsworth earned her third GNAC All-Academic honors this season, adding to her previous selections in 2023 and 2024. The Elementary Education major concludes her career with an exceptional 3.99 GPA, cementing her legacy as one of the program's most accomplished student-athletes.
 
A standout both academically and athletically, Ellsworth was recognized as an AVCA Honorable Mention All-American. She was also named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division II Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Team for the second time, further showcasing her excellence across all aspects of the student-athlete experience.
 
On the floor, Ellsworth delivered a dominant senior campaign. The Kent, Wash., native earned GNAC All-Conference First Team honors as a unanimous selection, her third career all-conference recognition after a first-team nod in 2023 and honorable mention in 2024.
 
Ellsworth led Central Washington's offensive attack, finishing the season with 272 kills (2.86 per set) and 321.5 total points, while posting an efficient .283 hitting percentage on 699 attempts. Her efficiency ranked eighth in the GNAC, while her total kills placed her 13th in the conference. At the net, she also made a significant impact defensively, recording 93 total blocks (0.98 per set), the second-highest total on the team.
 
Ellsworth will continue her professional career at CWU as she takes on her new position as the Director of the Student-Athlete Academic Success Center.
