Central Softball Rained Out in Nampa

Nineteenth-Ranked Wildcats to Play Three with Crusaders on Saturday

NAMPA, Idaho (Apr. 2) -- Rain in the Treasure Valley on Friday has caused for unplayable field conditions and the postponement of Central Washington University's scheduled softball doubleheader at Northwest Nazarene University on Friday.

The games between the 19th-ranked Wildcats and Crusaders will likely be made up on two separate dates. The two teams will attempt to play three games beginning at 10 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time (9 a.m. Pacific) on Saturday, and then plan to make up the other postponed game during NNU's visit to Ellensburg on Apr. 23-24.

Central Washington is currently 18-8 overall and 13-3 in Great Northwest Athletic Conference play. The Wildcats are ranked fifth in the NCAA Division II West Region in addition to their aforementioned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II national ranking.
