Box Score 2 PORTLAND, Ore (Feb. 3) -- Central Washington University senior
JOSH POTTER earned Great Northwest Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week for his contributions to the CWU baseball team this past weekend in San Francisco.
Potter, a first baseman and transfer from Campbellsville University, hit 5 for 8  on the weekend with a pair of doubles, two runs scored and two RBI as the Wildcats split a doubleheader with San Francisco State. Potter did not strike out and notched a slugging percentage of .875 with his offensive production. In addition, Potter played flawless defense at first base, logging 15 put outs and one assist with no errors in his team-high 16 chances.
Up next the baseball team will travel back to the Bay Area from Feb. 14-17 to play Academy of Art and complete their series with San Francisco State.
