Wildcats Host No. 10 WWU in Rivalry Match

ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University women's soccer team is back at home to take on No. 10 Western Washington University.

MATCH INFORMATION
vs No. 10 Western Washington
Saturday, Oct. 26
2:00 p.m.
Ellensburg, WA
CWU Soccer Complex

QUOTABLE
"Western Washington is the juggernaut of the GNAC and one of the top teams in the region and country," CWU Head Coach Michael Farrand said.  "That's who we have to measure ourselves against.  We have been really good lately on concentrating on who we are.  We've had to play a little unorthodox for who we are, but we have gotten the results.  The game against Northwest Nazarene was very good and if you look at our play since Simon Fraser, we have grown our game out.  We will have to find a few new ways to do things against Western.  If we get one or two good chances and they go in, it can change the game."

SCOUTING NO. 10 WESTERN WASHINGTON
The Vikings are 12-2-0 and a perfect 8-0-0 in GNAC play this season.  They are coming off of a 3-0 victory over Seattle Pacific.  Jenna Killman, Darby Doyle, and Estera Levinte each scored for the Vikings in the win.

Western has not lost since falling to No. 9 Colorado School of Mines, 2-1, back on Sept. 25.

Zoe Milburn leads the Vikings in scoring, tallying six goals.  Killman is just a goal behind at five.  Four players have scored four goals, while an additional five players have scored at least two goals.  Western Washington has buried a total of 41 goals on the season and allowed just four.

Natalie Dierickx has handled the vast majority of time in goal for the Vikings.  She has started in 13 games and accumulated 1,076 minutes.  She has posted a record of 11-2-0, with a goals against average of 0.33.  She has made 25 saves and faced just 89 shots.

When the Vikings and wildcats met earlier this season, the Vikings came away with a 2-0 victory on goals from White and Live Larson.  Western held the Wildcats to one shot in the contest.

LAST TIME OUT
Sophia Keenan's first goal of the season lifted the Wildcats over Northwest Nazarene University.  Central unleashed over 20 shots and held the Nighthawks to just one shot in the final 11 minutes of the contest after Keenan scored in the 79th minute.
