ELLENSBURG, Wash.—The Central Washington volleyball team added their sixth sweep at home this season alongside their eighth straight win at home.
It started with Hawaii Pacific on September 9
th, 38 days and eight matches later and the 'Cats have yet to be stopped at home.

The match kicked off in favor of the Saints, a trio of kills and an error by the 'Cats allowed them a 5-2 lead. The 'Cats found their footing, and a four-point scoring run kicked off by a kill from
Tia Andaya allowed the 'Cats jump in front 9-7.
Emily Gooding gave the Saints a pair of kills to keep up, but the 'Cats momentum led to three-point scoring run with a kill from
Leanna Shymanski to extend their lead 17-13.
The Saints made ground with a pair of scoring runs themselves, but
Marianna Payne and
Tia Andaya brought home the hammer with a pair of kills to close out the first set, 25-22.
The 'Cats went cruising into set two. A quick four-point scoring run by way of attack errors from the Saints and another kill by
Leanna Shymanski put the 'Cats ahead 8-3.
The Saints picked up a few points off of miscues by the 'Cats, but back-to-back three-point runs for the 'Cats extended the lead, 16-10. The Saints responded with some scoring themselves, cutting the 'Cats lead to 18-16.
Tia Allen and the Saints found three more points, but a
Laynie Erickson kill kicked off a scoring run for
Tia Andaya to close the door on set two. 'Cats took set two, 25-19.
After dropping two sets, the Saints came out with life to start the third. An attack error by the Saints kept the 'Cats in front, 7-6.
A kill from
Sydney Remsberg kicked off a five-point run for the 'Cats allowing them to jump out in front, 14-8.
The Saints continued to battle, Emily Gooding picked up another kill to try and cut the 'Cats momentum making it 17-11.
Alyssa Smith landed a big kill to bring the 'Cats to set point, and the Saints answered quickly making it 24-16.
The 'Cats took the final set and match on a service error, 25-16.
