MONMOUTH, Ore.—The Central Washington women's volleyball team outlasted the Wolves from Western Oregon in five sets to close out their GNAC road schedule for the season.
"Road wins are a premium for sure, but all wins this late in the season are critical. Offensively we had a blue collar attitude all weekend and it served us well. Our serving was key tonight as well.
Kayla Skipworth got us some nice runs and as usual everyone else stayed aggressive." Said CWU Head Coach
Mario Andaya.
Tia Andaya led the charge for the Wildcats picking up her sixth triple-double this season breaking the GNAC single-season record, and putting herself alone at No. 2 in all of Div II through tonight's matches.
"We ask a lot of our players and
Tia Andaya takes ona couple of different roles. Tia has embraced it and doesn't let down anytime she's on the court. It's cool the number validates her efforts."
