As the regular season begins to come to a close, the 'Cats look to pick up two big wins in their final road trip to remain in the hunt for regional standings.

TACKLING THE SAINTS THIS SEASON
Previously this season the Saints made the march to Ellensburg and the 'Cats gave them a warm welcome in the form of a 3-0 sweep in straight sets. Since their trip to Ellensburg, the Saints have gone 3-3 and are currently riding a three-game losing streak at the hands of Seattle Pacific, Western Washington, and Simon Fraser.
The Saints currently sit 8
th in the GNAC with a 3-11 conference record and are 10-14 overall. As a team the Saints offense averages 11.8 kills per set alongside a .149 hitting percentage. The receivers managed 10.6 assists per set alongside 17.7 digs. The defense averages 1.7 blocks per set and they manage 1.5 aces per set from behind the line.
CAGING THE WOLVES THIS SEASON
The Wolves have made the trip to Ellensburg twice this season, once for the CWU/SPU Invitational and again on October 14
th. The Wolves were swept in the invitational, but managed to take Hawaii Pacific and Biola (Calif.) to five sets. In their previous GNAC matchup, the 'Cats swept the Wolves in straight sets.
Currently the Wolves sit 10
th in the GNAC with a 1-13 conference record and are 3-18 overall. As a team the Wolves average 10.9 kills per set on a .155 hitting percentage. The set-receive for the Wolves posts 14.9 digs per set alongside 10.1 assists per set.
WILDCATS ON THE ROAD
The 'Cats have had their share of challenges this season, and currently it is a 2-5 record on the road. The 'Cats currently sit 4
th in the GNAC with a 9-5 conference record and sit 13-7 overall.
Leading the 'Cats offense is the hard-swinging sophomore who has given the 'Cats countless kills in key moments,
Ashley Kaufman. Kaufman averages 3.00 kills per set with 222 total on the season and sits 7
th for kills in the GNAC. Kaufman has also provided 17 service aces, 19 blocks, and 173 digs. She's become a pivotal piece of the 'Cats back row.
Alongside Kaufman sits offensive directors
Tia Andaya and
Sydney Remsberg. Remsberg has the edge on Andaya with one additional assist this season at 375, 374 for Andaya. While Remsberg leads the 'Cats with 28 service aces on the season, Andaya has provided 161 kills on a 2.82 kill per set average with 22 service aces as well. Leading the receive for the 'Cats is freshman
Hannah Stires. The libero has continued to lead the GNAC in digs for the last few weeks with 349 total, and a 4.72 per set average.
