SCOUTING WESTERN WASHINGTON
The Vikings enter the week with a record of 3-1-2 and are coming off a 4-1 loss at Seattle Pacific. Western is 1-0-2 at home with draws against Pacific Lutheran and Seattle Pacific. Their home victory came in a 1-0 affair over Saint Martin's.
When the Vikings met the Wildcats in Ellensburg, they came away with a 1-0 victory on a goal by Dayana Diaz.
Western Washington have outscored its opponents 10-8 on the season and are outshooting the opposition 97-60. Estera Levinte leads the Vikings' offense in total points with six (2G+2A=6TP). Zola Carbone and Dayana Diaz have also scored a pair of goals each. Western has had seven different goal scorers and 11 different players record at least one point.
In goal, Natalie Dierickx, Claire Henninger, and Abigail Trengove have shared the majority of time, while Grace Wales has also recorded 29 minutes in goal. Dierickx has made a team-high nine saves, while Henninger and Trengove have each turned aside six shots.
THE WILDCATS
Central is 2-2-0 on the year and have lost their last two outings. They dropped a 1-0 affair against Western Washington on May 8.
Grace Jackson and
Makinzie Packwood lead the Wildcats' offense with two goals each. Jackson has added an assist to her tally to lead the Crimson and lack with five points.
Sydney Lowe,
Emily Darcy,
Sophia Keenan, and Jaymie Woodfill have each recorded one goal. Lowe and
Meagan Kelly each have one helper. Jackson has taken four shots, all of which have been on goal, and is converting at a 50 percent clip.
Emily Thomson,
Megan Fox, and
Liz Canton have split time in goal with Fox leading in minutes played at 191:48. Thomson leads the group in saves with 10, while Fox is close behind with nine. Fox and Canton combined for the Wildcats' only clean sheet of the spring against Saint Martin's.
