QUOTABLE
"We are excited to get our year started finally," CWU Head Coach Michael Farrand said. "We had a really good run of games where we got to see a lot of progress every time out. We are excited as we get to showcase a group of very talented girls who have a chance to be successful. We have faced the College of Idaho or Chaminade in what feels like forever. College of Idaho is well-coached by Brian Smith, a COI alum, who has had a long, successful career. Not having faced Chaminade in such a long time, they are a bit of an unknown for us. They had a good win on the island over Hawaii Pacific in the spring. They have some very talented players and I'm sure they're excited to compete. We have to focus on our game and what we do well. It's exciting to be out and competing again."
