ELLENSBURG, Wash.— Baseball makes its return to Ellensburg as Central Washington is set to host Western Oregon in a non-conference doubleheader this Saturday. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.

Desi Storey. "We're looking to be stronger on offense and more consistent on the mound."
SCOUTING THE WOLVES
Western Oregon is 6-4 thus far this season after splitting a doubleheader 1-1 last weekend with the Mountaineers of Eastern Oregon.
Prior to Eastern Oregon, the Wolves went down to California and took a 3-1 series from Stanislaus and split their season-opening series with Fresno Pacific 2-2.
Offensively the Maiben brothers, Jacob and Derek, lead the Wolves in almost every category. Jacob, a senior outfielder, is hitting .333 at the plate with a double, a triple, and two runs batted in to his name. Jacob also leads the roster with a perfect 5-5 on stolen base attempts. Derek, a senior infielder, leads his brother with one more hit (13) and five runs batted in.
Seth Kuykendall has led WOU on the mound and pitched to a 2-1 record. Kuykendall owns a 4.40 earned run average through his 14 and a third innings of work. Across his three starts Kuykendall has allowed just seven earned runs and two walks while striking out 19.
LAST TIME OUT FOR CENTRAL
Central (4-9) has opened on the road for three straight weeks and finally returns to their home field. The Wildcats prepare for the Wolves this weekend after dropping a four-game series to NAIA powerhouse Lewis-Clark State.
Jake Bradley has been the Wildcats most effective arm this season. In 14.2 innings of work, Bradley, a transfer from St. Cloud State, leads the Wildcats with 10 strikeouts owning an 0-1 record through his three appearances.

Adam Fahsel leads the Crimson and Black with a .368 average on 21 hits with six doubles, one home run, and 11 runs batted in.
Austin Ohland, the Wildcats catcher and former GNAC freshman of the year, trails Fahsel with a .360 average on 18 hits. Ohland leads CWU with 10 doubles, and 13 runs batted in alongside one home run.
Central has a new offensive weapon in
Austin Hauck. A transfer from Hofstra University, Hauck is hitting .348 at the plate and leads the roster with four home runs thus far this season. Hauck also has four doubles, six runs batted in and a stolen base to his name.
