CLE ELUM, Wash. – The 24
th annual Kitna Wildcat Classic, held on Thursday, July 9
th at Suncadia Resort, was yet another resounding success for the Central Washington University Athletic Department.
Over 200 golfers competed in the event, which was split between a morning session on the Prospector Course and an afternoon session spent on the Rope Rider Course.
"It was another beautiful day at Suncadia and a great day for our sponsors, alumni, and donors to come together in support of Wildcat student-athletes," CWU Director of Athletics Dr. Dennis Francois said. "This event is a homecoming for many, penciling in the first Thursday after the Fourth of July for the Kitna, which has been inspiring to witness during my 13 years at Central. The long-standing support of our sponsors, including our presenting sponsor, Wells Fargo Advisors, provides our coaches the resources to recruit the brightest and best to Central Washington University."
