PORTLAND, Ore. – The Central Washington University athletic programs were recognized for their excellence in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year in the GNAC All-Sports Trophy rankings. The department combined for a total of 121 points with the women's sports accounting for 80 of those points and the men's sports tallying 41 points.
The Wildcats collectively finished fifth with the women's 80 points earning them a third-place finish in the conference while the men's 41 points earned them a sixth-place finish in the GNAC.
Three different sports grabbed their individual sport titles in the conference led by the women's soccer program who earned a 3.80 GPA this season. The women's basketball and the volleyball programs also grabbed individual sport victories with the women's basketball team combining for a 3.73 GPA and the volleyball squad earning a 3.71 GPA. The men's basketball team was the only other CWU representative in the top three ads they tied for third in the conference with a 3.42 GPA.
The women's soccer team earns their first academic title in GNAC history and can boast the highest team GPA in GNAC women's soccer history and the highest GPA by any team in the GNAC this season. The women's basketball team grabs their third academic title and their first since the 2022-23 season and finished with the second-best GPA in GNAC women's basketball history. The volleyball team continues to add to their GNAC-leading academic titles, tacking on their ninth academic title since the start of the GNAC.
