ELLENSBURG, Wash. – Central Washington women's soccer begins its two-week road stint starting Thursday in Bellingham against rivals Western Washington. The 'Cats then head to Canada and face Simon Fraser on Saturday.

Central Washington picked up their first conference win beating Montana State Billings 4-3 last Thursday. The Wildcats had Seattle Pacific on the ropes Saturday night, but the Falcons charged back in the second half to secure the 3-2 victory.
Sami Huber scored her first career goal against Seattle Pacific and tacked on another one in the second half.

Emily Darcy each found the back of the net against Montana State Billings.
Danika Galbraith made her first career start against Seattle Pacific and dazzled in the first half, making three key saves to keep the game scoreless. Galbraith ended the night with five saves.
SCOUTING THE VIKINGS
Western Washington is 3-3-3 overall, 5
th in the GNAC with a 1-1-2 record, and is 2-0-1 at home this season.
Last week the Vikings tied in a scoreless match against Saint Martin's and lost 1-0 to a red-hot Western Oregon team on Saturday.
Gracen Crosby and Morgan Manalili anchor the Vikings offense, and each has a goal and an assist. Western Washington averages 11.8 shots and scores just under a goal per match. Surprisingly, the Vikings couldn't find the back of the net on Thursday against Saint Martin's despite putting up a season-high 19 shots.
Claire Henninger is the mainstay in net for the Vikings. She is 2-2-3 in seven starts with three solo shutouts. In her seven games, she has made 20 saves, has a .833 save percentage, and a goals-against average of 0.60.
SCOUTING THE RED LEAFS
Simon Fraser is 2-2-2 overall and 1-2-1 in conference play good enough for sixth in the GNAC.
The Red Leafs went 0-1-1 last week losing 1-0 to Western Oregon before securing the 1-1 tie against Saint Martin's last Saturday.
Kate Cartier champions Simon Fraser's offense and has a goal and an assist. Kiera Scott and Katelyn Magdalinski have found the back of the net this season. Magdalinski scored her first NCAA goal on Saturday to force a 1-1 draw with Saint Martin's. Alyssa Clark is the main facilitator and has two assists through six matches.
Sarah Loewen started every game in goal for Simon Fraser this season. She has two wins, 23 saves, and an 85.2 save percentage. Loewen boasts a 0.67 goals-against average that ranks third in the conference.
