Six Wildcats Earn GNAC All-Academic Honors

CLACKAMAS, Ore. – Six members of the Central Washington women's basketball team earned Great Northwest Athletic Conference All-Academic Honors, the GNAC announced this morning. Montana State Billings led the way with 10 athletes receiving GNAC All-Academic honors.
 
Samantha Bowman (3.66 Nutrition), Tori Maeda (3.57 Biochemistry), and Jenna Troy (3.75 Construction Management) are all receiving GNAC All-Academic honors for the third time in their careers with all three receiving honors during 2020-21 and the 2021-22 seasons.
 
Kiera Bush (3.68 Biology) is receiving GNAC All-Academic honors for the second time in her career after receiving honors during the 2021-22 season.
 
Claire Heitschmidt (3.92 Construction Management) and Sunshine Huerta (3.93 Undeclared) are making their debuts on the GNAC All-Academic honors selection list.
 
To qualify for GNAC All-Academic honors, nominees must be of sophomore eligibility or greater as well as in their second season playing for the institution, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 or greater, and must be on the roster for the full season.
