TACOMA, Wash. – Central Washington Track and Field had four winners at the Ed Boitano Invitational this weekend.

"I am pleased with what we saw today. We came home with four meet winners and had good performances from some people.
Isaiah Webster in the long jump,
Drew Klein getting a pr in the pole vault that is really good, Ellie Degroot in the 100-meter hurdle, and
Sarah Sewell in the 400 m hurdles were all event winners."
Adkisson added, "Overall across the board good performances even though it's our first outdoor event and colder, people came out and competed hard and showed good things Especially for some of the guys getting their first meet of the season, one of them was
Branden Wise in Javelin it was encouraging on his end to get off to a positive start in that event."
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Isaiah Webster won the men's long jump, leaping 21-10.25 feet (6.66 meters).
- Ellie DeGroot won the women's 100-meter Hurdles running it in 15.44 seconds and Sarah Sewell won the 400-meter Hurdles finishing the race with a time of 1:05.49.
- Drew Klein won the Men's Pole Vault clearing 14-08 feet (4.47 meters).
- Wyatt Franklin placed top three in two events getting 2nd in Discus Throw 142-06 ft (43.44 meters) and 3rd in Shot Put 45-03 ft (13.79 meters).
- Branden Wise got 2nd place in Javelin throwing it 177-08 feet (54.15 meters).

- The Wildcats travel to Renton Washington to compete in the Doris Heritage Track Festival at Renton Memorial Stadium on Saturday, March 18th.
