The Wildcat's (1-3) grabbed their first victory of the season beating San Francisco State 2-0 last Saturday in California.
Paige Savage netted her second of the season in the 16
th minute when
Emily Darcy crossed it into the top of the box and Savage volleyed it in just over the bar. In the last seconds of the first half, the Gators earned a free kick 10 yards outside of the box. It was a fantastic arcing ball in, but the deflection bounced right to Jaggard and the Wildcats took the one goal lead into the break.
Kass Jaggard dazzled in net for the 'Cats in the second half. In the 59
th minute, Rachel Handy got in behind to a ball deep in the box and shot it right at Kass who made a fantastic save to preserve the Wildcat's lead. The Gators kept knocking at the door late. Alexa Avelar's shot was just punched away by Jaggard, and three Wildcat defenders protected the net, blocking the second attempt out of play.
Casey Park put the game on ice, scoring her first goal of the season in the 84
th minute. A misplay from the Gators led to

Kassandra Jaggard recorded her first shutout of the season, making eight saves, including three key stops in the second half.
SCOUTING REGIS
The Rangers (2-2) won their first home game, beating Texas Permian Basin 4-2 Sunday afternoon. Natalie Bunch scored in the 2
nd minute and the Rangers didn't look back, netting three more en route to the victory.
Sarah Wynn leads the team with three goals, Natalie Bunch has two, and five other Rangers have scored one. Alex Baer, Madeline Gardner, and Taylor Brown all have two assists. Regis is averaging 17.8 shots per match and 2.25 goals per contest.
Kayla Arucan is the mainstay keeper for Regis. She is 1-2 in her three starts with eight saves and a 2.40 goals against average. Grace Glover has a start in goal over two appearances. She started and got the win against San Francisco State, recording five saves in the match.
