- The crimson and black defense forced the Lobos into a three-and-out giving the ball back to the offense.
- Tyler Flanagan started the drive with an 11-yard rush, and McGill took it from there connecting with Flangan twice and Darrien Gaines before capping it off with a 24-yard touchdown dime to Andrew Molloy. Britton drilled the PAT and the 'Cats led 14-0 with 11:16 left in the first.
- Mikaio Edward sacked the SRSU quarterback on the first play of the Lobos drive with Isaac Clark and Wahi Emmsley combining for a tackle for loss helped the 'Cats secure the three-and-out of the Lobo offense.

- Rinse and repeat for the crimson and black defense, holding the Lobos to a three-and-out giving the ball back to the offense around midfield.
- Cam Daniels brought the 'Cats down the field chunk by chunk, but true freshman Beau Phillips would earn his first collegiate touchdown with a 23-yard rushing touchdown, and with Britton making the PAT made it 28-0 'Cats with 1:04 left in the first.
- A fumble by the Lobos on the kickoff return recovered by Daniel Mendoza set the 'Cats up at the SRSU 30-yard line.
- McGill easily found the endzone on the next play going the full 30-yards, and with the Britton PAT, made it 35-0 'Cats with 53 seconds left in the first.

- Two plays into the second quarter, Daniels punched in the five-yard touchdown, and with the Britton PAT, made it 42-0 'Cats with 14:02 left in the quarter.
- A botched punt by the Lobos set CWU up at the half-yard mark which McGill connected with Stephen Woodward on the next play to make it 49-0 CWU after Britton's successful PAT.
- The Wildcat defense forced SRSU to punt setting the offense at the CWU 36-yard line for the next crimson and black drive.
- Flanagan and Phillips took it from there as they marched down the field, capped with Flangan running in a 21-yard touchdown and with Britton's PAT, made it 56-0 CWU with 8:17 left in the second.
- A second interception of the night by Volk gave the ball back to the Wildcat offense in which Daniels took over with big gains of 27 and 20-yard rushes, respectively, but Britton would drill a 38-yard field goal to make it 59-0 CWU with 1:56 left before halftime.
