ELLENSBURG, Wash.- The Central Washington University women's soccer team (3-6-6, 1-6-5 GNAC) will play its final home game of the season on Thursday, Nov. 6, hosting Northwest Nazarene (5-9-2, 4-6-2 GNAC) for Senior Day at 7:30 p.m. The match will be held at Steve Hertling Field at Tomlinson Stadium. LAST TIME OUT
The Wildcats opened last weekend with a 1-1 draw against Saint Martin's University on Thursday, Oct. 30, in Ellensburg. They then followed with a scoreless tie against No. 23 Western Oregon University at home on Saturday, Nov. 1.
Against the Saints,
Casey Park put CWU on the board in the 55th minute, finishing a well-placed pass from
Jaylee Reynolds. Saint Martin's equalized in the 86th minute when Brooke Streeter converted on an assist from Angely Puga. The Wildcats outshot the Saints 15-9, generating multiple scoring chances but unable to find the winner. Goalkeeper
Leighton Menge recorded five saves in the match, while Park led the attack with four shots, two on goal, in 76 minutes of play. Reynolds added three shots in 71 minutes of action.
In Saturday's matchup with the Wolves, the Wildcats battled to a 0-0 draw despite being outshot 16-5. Goalkeeper
Danika Galbraith was stellar in net, making six saves to secure the clean sheet.
Sydney Madison led CWU offensively with one shot on goal in 90 minutes, while
Kelsey Fulton added another shot on target in 61 minutes of play.

SCOUTING THE NIGHTHAWKS
Northwest Nazarene is coming off a homestand in which the Nighthawks split results, falling 2-1 to #23 Western Oregon on Thursday, Oct. 30, before earning a 3-0 victory over Saint Martin's on Saturday, Nov. 1.
Against the Wolves, NNU fell behind in the 76th minute when Kaia Borje-Peeples fired a shot into the back of the net off an assist from Jada Foster. Just three minutes later, Savanna Herz equalized for the Nighthawks, finishing a feed from Abbey Blancett. Western Oregon found the game-winner in the 86th minute as Alyna Slayter buried a shot to secure the win. The Wolves outshot the Nighthawks 15-7 in a competitive matchup. Goalkeeper Alex Barrass made five saves, while Attie Jo Westbrook led the NNU attack with two shots, one on goal, in 81 minutes of play. Isabella Kimball added two shots in 72 minutes.
In Saturday's match against Saint Martin's, the Nighthawks' offense came alive. Mackenzie Brown opened the scoring in the 29th minute, finishing a pass from Ellie Ritter. Alexis Cromwell doubled the lead in the 48th minute with assists from Ritter and Herz, and Brianna Abo extended the advantage in the 54th minute on an assist from Ali Adkins. NNU outshot the Saints 13-8 and capitalized on its scoring opportunities. Barrass recorded three key saves to preserve the shutout. Ritter led the attack with two shots on goal in 68 minutes, while Cromwell added two shots, one on target, in 47 minutes of action.

The Wildcats hold a 26-16-2 all-time record against Northwest Nazarene, with the most recent meeting ending in a 2-2 draw on Oct. 18, 2025, in Nampa, Idaho. CWU is 15-5-1 at home against the Nighthawks and will look to build on that success Thursday evening. Â
