QUOTING CWU HEAD SOFTBALL COACH JOE DIPIETRO

"We're excited to be playing at home this weekend against a very good St. Martins team. We've been on the road seems like the entire year and it will be nice to finally play here. The Gold Star event is one that is very special to us in that we get to honor these families and the heroes that allow us to live free in this country. I'm hoping for a big turnout as we pay our respects to these families."

LAST OUTINGS

CWU went 1-3 last weekend north of the border at Simon Fraser. Simon Fraser earned a comeback 3-2 eight inning victory in game one. CWU saw a 9-7 victory in game two of day one thanks to a Gabi Casco two-run homer in the sixth inning after SFU came back to tie the game at seven in the fifth.
