Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. (Mar. 10) Central Washington University junior Brandon Williams (Auburn, WA, Auburn Mountainview) earned Great Northwest Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for his performance this past Friday in a 6-1 win over Northwest Nazarene.

Williams had one of the most memorable performances in recent history as he tossed eight stellar innings striking out 15 batters with no walks.  Williams became the second pitcher in CWU NCAA Division II history to record 15 strikeouts in one game. 

In the 6-1 win over NNU, Williams struck out the side three times and now stands with a 3-1 record and an ERA of 2.51.

The Baseball team next plays Whitworth University this Wednesday (Mar. 12) for a single game starting at 2 p.m. at the CWU Baseball Field.
