Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. (Mar. 31) -- Central Washington University senior STUART FEWEL earned the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week award for his dominating, complete-game win last Sunday versus Saint Martin's University.

Fewel, who needed only 86 pitches to navigate the Saint's lineup for nine innings allowed only four hits while striking out two.

He is now 3-2 on the season, striking out a total of 22 batters and lowering his ERA to 3.49 with the 5-1 win over SMU. Of his 27 outs recorded, 18 came way of the ground ball.

The Wildcats will host the GNAC leaders next weekend, as Fewel looks to continue his dominance against the Western Oregon Wolves.
