ELLENSBURG, Wash. (Mar. 9) – The Central Washington University baseball team has moved its four-game set against Concordia University, originally to be played in Portland, Oregon, to Ellensburg this weekend.

The Wildcats are coming off a four-game series last weekend against Montana State Billings in which they took three of four games.

Reid Martinez took home Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week after going 6-for-10 with eight runs batted in during the series.

"That's fantastic production," Storey noted. "Obviously it'd be great if he can keep that up."

Justin Adams tossed a complete game in the final game of the series, allowing just five hits and one run.

"He threw a great game, controlled the temp of the game and what was going on their side of the game," CWU Head Coach Desi Storey said of Adams' start.  "He went out and did his job, putting up zeroes."

Concordia enters the week with a 4-10 record overall and a 2-2 GNAC mark.  The Cavaliers split their first GNAC series with Western Oregon last weekend.  Away from the confines of their own ball field the Cavaliers are 2-8.
