Why did you choose Central? Central has a winning tradition.  It is also a great location and Washington is my home state.
 
What unique ability does your role give you? I get to impact the lives of great student-athletes
 
What is the best thing about working at Central? The People
 
What achievement are you most proud of? Becoming the head football coach at CWU.
 
What is something people may not know about you? I have three younger brothers who all coach football.
 
Who is your favorite professional sports team? All of the Seattle teams.
 
What is your favorite food? Grandma's ginger chicken and yakisoba
 
What kind of music do you listen to? Classic Southern Rock.
 
What is the last book you read? Audrey Bunny, by Angie Smith to help put Quinn to bed.  But the last book read for myself is Rise by Daniel Rodriguez.
 
What was your childhood ambition? Astronaut
 
What was your very first job? I split wood for a logging company
 
What is your most prized possession? My family
 
Do you have a nickname? If so, how did you get it? Shoe, it's just short for Shoemaker 
 
In your free time you like too… Spend time with my family and golf.
