The Cavaliers dropped three of four to Montana State Billings last week, and has won just one of its last seven conference games.
Mackenzie Gaul continues to impress on the bump, earning his second GNAC Pitcher of the Week selection after securing a complete game victory over WOU, allowing just four hits, while striking out one and allowing no walks. The Wildcats game one starter,
Jake Levin, has been equally impressive, holding a 1.89 ERA in six starts and a 3-1 record.
Third baseman Dylan Freyer continues to haunt opposing pitchers, holding a GNAC best .485 batting average, with four round-trippers, 12 RBI and 10 extra-base hits.
Concordia owns the GNAC's worst batting average, coming into this week batting just .233 as a team. This should bode well for the CWU pitching staff that leads the GNAC with a 3.44 ERA.
