Wildcats Add McGill, Aguirre to Recruiting Class

ELLENSBURG, Wash.—Kennedy McGill and Anthony Aguirre are the final signees for Central Washington's 2022 recruiting class. Both players signed with Wildcats earlier this week.
 
McGill is a 6-0, 190-pound quarterback from Bothwell, Wash. A three-star recruit by 247Sports.com, set 26 school records during his career at North Creek HS. As a senior, McGill was named first-team All-KingCo, in addition to Offensive MVP and Player of the Year.
 
McGill passed for 3,097 yards in 15 career games, tossing 34 touchdown passes along the way. McGill also rushed for 1,062 yards and another 18 touchdowns.

Aguirre is a 6-4, 205-pound wide receiver from Ferris High School in Spokane, Wash. Aguirre participated in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl at AT&T Stadium in January.  He earned "Best Wide Receiver" honors while playing for the Saxons. Aguirre is coached at Ferris by former CWU linebacker and defensive coordinator (2012-13) Malik Roberson.

McGill and Aguirre join 23 others who signed with the Wildcats earlier this month as part of National Signing Day.
