ELLENSBURG, Wash.— After a group of wins last weekend at its outdoor season-opener, Central Washington is headed to Seattle Pacific for the Doris Heritage Track Festival on Saturday.
The meet will feature programs including Washington, Western Washington, Northwest University, Olympic College, Pacific Lutheran, Green River, Saint Martin's, Evergreen State, Everett Community College, Alaska Anchorage, and unattached athletes as well.
"We're looking forward to having a good meet and continuing to build momentum in the outdoor season," Central Washington Head Coach
Kevin Adkisson said. "We're always a little unsure what we'll get at the end of finals week and seeing how everyone closes out the quarter. This will be a good meet to create some momentum, and then allow us to recover next week before we continue."
A small number of Central athletes are also headed to Arizona, where they will compete in the Willie Williams Classic and the Dave Murray Distance Classic on the campus of the University of Arizona.
