ELLENSBURG, Wash. - Tre'Jon Henderson, the Wildcat's star from Saturday's win over the Western New Mexico Mustangs, earned the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Henderson (6'0", 218lbs) scored all three touchdowns in CWU's 24-13 win over WNMU. He registered 154 rushing yards on 26 attempts, an average of 5.9 yards per rush.

He tacked on an additional 37 receiving yards, totaling 191 all-purpose yards.

The sophomore transfer from Stephen F. Austin scored once before halftime and added two more touchdowns in the second half, including a game-sealing 6-yard rushing touchdown with 2:17 remaining in the game.

CWU (1-1) will be on the road in Burnaby, B.C. for a matchup against the Simon Fraser Red Leafs. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
