LAST TIME OUT
The Cats split their series with Saint Martin's this past weekend. The 'Cats dropped both games on Friday before rallying to take the last two games of the series 16-4 and 12-3.
Reid Rasmussen got the win on the mound in game four throwing a complete game. Through seven innings of work, Rasmussen struck out three batters.
Austin Ohland had a terrific weekend at the plate going 5-15, with 6 RBIs, 6 runs, and four home runs.
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS
The Mountaineers dropped their final two games of their series against British Columbia. Eastern Oregon's game against Whitman on April 4
th was canceled due to weather and field conditions in Walla Walla, Washington.
Mario Landeros leads the Mountaineer's offense hitting .329 with 23 hits, five doubles, and two home runs. Joey Freitas leads the team with 7 doubles and 11 RBIs so far this season. Eastern Oregon's ace is Bennett King. He has thrown 34.2 innings and recorded 19 strikeouts.
