Central Washington swept Northwest Nazarene last weekend. In the final game of the series,
Austin Ohland mashed a two-run home run and then
Kyle Rodriguez hit his first homer of the season. The Nighthawks used a four-run sixth inning that brought the score to 6-5 in favor of the 'Cats.
Austin Ohland came to the plate in the bottom of the sixth and launched a 400-foot homer as the Wildcats took the 10-6 victory.
SCOUTING THE WARRIORS
Lewis-Clark State is 26-12 overall. Last weekend, the Warriors swept Eastern Oregon in a four-game series and won their final game 24-3. Carter Booth leads the Warrior's offense hitting .361 with nine doubles, two triples, eight home runs, and 27 RBIs.
LC State's top two pitchers are Decker Stedman and Cameron Smith. Decker is 4-0 with a 4.25 ERA and has recorded 21 strikeouts this season. Cameron is 4-2 with a 3.24 ERA and has fanned 35 batters in 25 innings of work.
