PORTLAND, Ore. – Austin Ohland led six Wildcats with his third straight First Team All-Conference selection.
FIRST TEAM
Austin Ohland earned his third straight First Team All-Conference selection. Ohland is third in the league with eight home runs. He's batting .246 with 28 hits, 10 doubles, and a triple. Ohland is fifth in the GNAC driving in 34 runs.
Sophomore left fielder
Ben Leid unanimously received First Team All-Conference honors. Leid is fifth in the GNAC hitting .029 doubles per game. Leid has the best batting average on the team hitting .343 with 61 hits 14 doubles, two triples, and three home runs. Additionally, Leid has driven in 32 runs and ranks 6
th in the GNAC with 14 two out RBI's.
SECOND TEAM
Senior pitcher
Brayde Hirai led four second team honorees for Central Washington. Hirai finished the season with a 4-5 record and posted a 4.12 ERA. Hirai recorded 30 strikeouts in 67.2 innings of work. Hirai leads the league in innings pitched and has the third lowest earned run average.
Senior Second Basemen
Charlie Larson is third in the league in runs scored (42) and is tied for second in stolen bases (16). Larson is hitting .292 and has 49 hits, 10 doubles, one triple, and one home run to pair with 18 runs batted in.
Trevor Tripoli is a force at shortstop defensively as he leads the league with 130 assists and 26 double plays turned. Offensively, he is batting .321 and has 45 hits, nine doubles, two triples, and 19 RBIs.
Designated hitter
Travis Helm leads the team and is fourth in the league with 37 RBIs. He is averaging .290 at the plate, alongside a .417 on base percentage, and .377 slugging percentage. He tallied 47 hits, 11 doubles, and one home run.
HONORABLE MENTION
Junior lefty
Alex Brady has proved himself on the mound through his seven starts and thirteen appearances. He threw 42 innings on his way to a 4-3 record and leads the team, recording 38 strikeouts this season.
