ELLENSBURG, Wash.- The Central Washington University cross country teams are set to travel to Monmouth, Oregon on Saturday, November 8 to compete in the NCAA West Regional Championships at Ash Creek Preserve.

QUALIFYING FOR NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
- The top three teams will automatically advance to the championship finals.
- The top two individuals who are not part of a qualifying team will automatically advance to the championship finals.
- All individuals who finish in the top five at the regional meet and are not part of a qualifying team will automatically advance to the championship finals.
- The next eight individuals will be selected at large.

Women's Race: 6,000 meter race – 10:00 a.m.
Men's Race: 10,000 meter race – 11:15 a.m.
Competitors: All 10 conference members will compete in the NCAA West Region Championships

LAST TIME OUT
Central Washington men finished 7th and women finished 5th at GNAC Championships two weeks ago.
The men's squad tallied 185 points, led by
Luke Hurd, who placed 25th with a time of 25:15.1.
Charles Naught was the next Wildcat across the line, finishing 38th in 25:48.2, followed by
Dima Serafimovici in 42nd with a time of 25:54.8.
Kellen McInelly took 49th with a time of 26:13.5, while
Max Hutton rounded out the team's scorers in 53rd, clocking 26:21.7. Completing the lineup were
Ares Van Straaten in 58th (26:34.6) and
Ethan Moore in 74th (28:04.2).
On the women's side, the Wildcats earned 126 points, paced by
Payton Conover, who secured a 13th-place finish with a time of 21:47.8.
Maddy Harrison followed close behind in 14th at 21:48.9.
Lillian Neff was next for the Crimson and Black, finishing 31st in 22:26.1, with
Hannah Pidduck right behind in 35th at 22:37.0.
Julie Johnson and
Katie Manly finished back-to-back in 42nd and 43rd, posting times of 22:54.6 and 22:59.5, respectively.
Camryn Holterhoff rounded out the Wildcats' top seven with a 46th-place finish and a time of 23:14.1.
