QUOTING HEAD COACH JONATHAN HILL
"We're splitting the squad a bit this weekend between the New Mexico Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational and University of Idaho's Lauren McCluskey Memorial.  Both are outstanding meets with significance in their names. "

"We have another small group going to test their stuff against the best in the country.  The University of New Mexico has an awesome venue and attracts some outstanding competition.  We'll see schools from the SEC (Georgia, South Carolina), ACC (Stanford, CAL), Big10 (UCLA), Big12 (Arizona), Mountain West, and Pac12.  Our kids are some of the nation's best athletes and they need to see this competition to elevate their own game.  We don't compete against D1/D2/D3...we compete against ourselves in the toughest environments we can find.  This will be a big test, but I'm excited to watch us rise to the occasion and learn what it takes to compete at a truly elite level."
