PORTLAND, Ore. – The Central Washington University Softball Team had seven student-athletes featured on the GNAC Softball Academic Team, presented by Barnes and Noble College, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Two 'Cats are making their second-straight appearance in redshirt sophomore
Kathryn Piscotty and junior
Zoey Theophilus. Piscotty, a Livermore, Calif. native, owns a 3.65 GPA in BioChemistry. Theophilus, a native of Tumwater, Wash., is majoring in Mathematics and holds a 3.47 GPA.
Five Wildcats are making their debut on the All-Academic Team. Senior
Olivia Ross is earning her first honor as the Kent, Wash. native owns a 3.55 GPA in Psychology. Fellow senior, Rio Rancho, N.M. native
Mia Flores, is making her debut on the All-Academic Team with a 3.38 GPA in Business Administration. Three more sophomores are making their debuts on the GNAC All-Academic Team. Vancouver, Wash. native
Kayla Brusseau has a 3.45 GPA while Albuquerque, N.M. native
McKayla Cable has a 3.84 GPA, both undecided on a major.
Alex Flohr rounds out the Wildcats earning All-Academic honors as the Snohomish, Wash. native has a 3.91 GPA in Business Administration.
