PORTLAND, Ore. – The Central Washington University Baseball team landed eight selections on the 2026 GNAC Academic All-Conference Team Presented by Barnes & Noble College, led by a pair of players who received their second consecutive selection to the All-Academic Team..
Earning the selection to the All-Academic team for second year in a row is senior
Max Bledy and junior
Kellen Berg. Bledy, majoring in IT & Administrative Management, earned recognition with a 3.77 GPA, continuing a standout year both on the field and in the classroom while Berg contributed a 3.49 GPA to the Wildcats' total while listed as Undecided.
Logan Blank, a senior majoring in Physical Education & School Health, topped the group with a 3.93 GPA, anchoring CWU's academic showing in his final season. Fellow senior
Drake Anderson, also a Physical Education & School Health major, followed closely with a 3.84 GPA, giving the Wildcats a strong one two punch at the top of the list.
Junior
Andre Garza, another Physical Education & School Health major, posted a 3.68 GPA to secure his spot among the conference's top academic performers.
Rounding out CWU's upper class contingent was senior
Braden Zadow, a Business Administration major who recorded a 3.53 GPA.
Sophomore
Nolan Mowry earned a 3.51 GPA while listed as Undecided, and sophomore
Kaden Haffner completed the group with a 3.41 GPA as an Early Childhood Education major.
To qualify for GNAC All-Academic honors, nominees must be of sophomore eligibility or greater, as well as in their second season playing for the institution. They must also have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or greater and must be on the roster the full season.
